Recorded soon after Eugenio Jaimez returned from a tour of duty in Vietnam, “Fantasia del Barrio” is his musical meditation on life at war and the Chicano experience at home. Skillfully performed in one marathon recording session, Jaimez and El Gusano embraced the Soul, Funk and psychedelic sounds of their day to craft this lost instrumental concept album.
