Deepest hi-art Fluxus bombardment from the late artist Joe Jones, offering two long-form pieces entitled ‘Meditations’ – originally self-released on cassette but reissued by the cherished Dutch sound-art imprint Slowscan. Best known for his automated music-making machines, here we find Jones (or his creation) THRASHING it out, akin to the incessant motor operated experiments undertaken by Remko Shah, resulting in an overwhelming, fully-transfixed eye-lid flicker of the highest order. After a while due to the unwavering agitation, overtones from the strings start to swell and harmonically interact with the tinkering percussive hits and hi-end flutters only to eventually (and un-expectantly) run out of steam, entering its death throes to give way to a sweetly sentimental, twangin’ guitar medley leaving us renewed, refreshed, baptised, reborn. A true rites of passage. What just happened?!! (NM/NM – With insert).

You can only return an item if it is unused and still in the same condition as when you first received it. It must also be in its original packaging.
